Ditt Bags is the project of Ditte Tanja, an Utrecht-based maker with a fantastic eye for color, form and using recycled materials.
Her identity needed to reflect these qualities while impressing the idea of craft, which is at the heart of everything she makes. To satisfy this need, I brought the stitch in as a visible grid and gave the website proportions that felt similar to her leather bags. Reader from Colophon foundry felt like a natural fit for the logo, as it sits confidently on the page without pretention.
The site is a custom wordpress with a back-end interface that mirrors the design of the website for ease of use.
